Bittersweet Symphony

Got sued by Mick

Cruel Intentions

I debated a bit on The Verve. I feel like they had more than just 1 popular song- e.g., they've got 3 cuts over 90 million listens on Roganify.

I love the Spin Doctors in Southpark when @DoogCourics kicks the crap out of the pussy @dflea vapors.

Spotify don't count for 90's music

Spotify allows people to explore other music by one hit wonders

As far as AM radio goes Neil was basically a 2 hit wonder - Old Man and Heart of Gold

Verve was much more of a one hit wonder than Spin Doctors, at least as far as the US is concerned.

Little Miss Can't Be Wrong was almost as big as Two Princes. The Verve didn't have anything here close to as big as Bittersweet Symphony.

Would have voted Spin Doctors but they are not one hit wonders to me. Closing Time is impossibly hooky and has been used to close down about 16 billion bar nights since it was released. I have closed down bars in Australia, Tasmania, Japan, Dubai, Belgium and all over the US with this song playing. It's global. Still.

edit: Breakfast at Tiffany's was close but I never hear it much anymore. Just doesn't have the reach Closing Time has/had.

I'm always amazed the Heart of Gold hit #1 on the singles chart. No wonder he went into the ditch.

Harvey Danger. I can't think of any hit they had other than this, which was mega.

Record company: Neil we want another Harvest!

Neil: Fuck off

Motherfuck! Smash Mouth Allstar was actually released in 99. I thought it was 2000. This for sure should have been on the list. Yella you dummy.

edit: Never mind they had another hit. These fucks.
