Love the White Stripes.
I own a lot of great LPs by rock band from circa 2008- 2020 but a lot of this stuff is pretty niche.
To me The White Stripes are kind of the last great, legendary rock group.
Because of their specific style of rock, or…?
Muse make my ears hurt.
I thought we were talking White Stripes, but I'm gonna assume you're more of a Radiohead guy. I never understood the early years comp of Muse being a newer Radiohead, mostly because Muse are actually talented and play actual rock music.
White Stripes have a handful of songs I like, but I always thought they were overrated. The drummer is pure twash and their sound didn't really evolve. They fit really well during the 2000's, but I think of them as a band that is relegated to the era of people shopping at Urban Outfitters. Some for The Raconteurs which makes sense given Jack White. Personally, I think the Indy rock revival era is mostly forgettable.

I was making a joke about Muse as mentioned in another thread.
I like a bit of Radiohead but never got than much into them.
My favorite rock is rooted more in blues, country, souls, etc so I tend to favor this stuff over more technically proficient progressive or shredding.
Meg White sucks but Jack wrote a lot of kick ass songs in the early 2000s.
And as the biggest dickus hi fi guy here you can't lump me in with Urban Outfitter douches canoes.
