I don't really agree, but this popped up when searching Eddie solos. This is still a great solo, though, don't twist.

If it's not, it's pretty fucking close.
The best guitar solo of all time if off Steely Dan's classic, Peg.
Jay Graydon got to the fucking point in 20 secs, when most guys spend minutes of masturbating away with their solos.
IFL Graydon’s solo, but for me, Larry Carlton on Kid Charlemagne was first and right…

Are we bashing masturbating while soloing? Let he who has not masturbated while soloing throweth the first rock.

Can't remember if I connected the dots or I saw it on Twitter or something, but I know Prince is a huge fan of Joni Mitchell's A Case of You and I think he bit the melody and rhythm from that song to create Purple Rain, which is an amazing canvas for soloing.

Why Prince Asked for Journey’s Blessing Before Releasing “Purple Rain”
He lifted Purple Rain from Journey's "Faithfully".
Holy shit I can't unhear that.

Prince definitely pulled some of the vibe from Journey.
Lake Minnetonka classy that Prince reached out and fessed up.

I saw Prince live at the London O2. He could shred, no doubt. He fucking did like 5 encores, which means you are up your own ass, which find annoying.
Hammett had it going on for And Justice for All's "One" solo. To me, that's the apex of solos. Possibly the apex of songs.
