I could have voted for about 5 songs on this list.
What does it for me on Revolution is the creativity involved to get the distortion. Totally different than anything tried before.

Yeah I voted wrong. It's the solos and general guitar chaos in Voodoo Child that elevates it, not the riff. Revolution and White Room have more memorable riffs.
I think Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except For Me and Monkey could've made the list too. Killer, high energy riff.

Born to be wild is the most bad ass guitar riff ever on the big screen and it's not close. @RaceBannon actually got this one right.

Although Pusherman is 2nd best use of a riff on the big screen and is pretty close.

Tough year. Revolution, note not the shitty White Album version is solid. As stated Steppenwolf has to be one of the highest licensed songs of the last 70 years. That said, going home team! Doogin!
