Lord, strike that poor boy down....

Tommy was a strong contender.

I love Tommy, but the studio album sounds corny to me at times. This material was so much better live. The Live at Leeds Deluxe Version shows us why.

went with Tommy in a very close one - the dead, NY, LZ, Queen, CCR all good. oops forgot the Stones

Not to mention Going to California, Battle of Evermore, and Stairway to Heaven.

Totally agree, it's a God damned masterpiece. Rock, blues, folk and metal all done on a high level.

I saw The Who on their Farewell Tour............in 1989. As Townsend windmilled, his hand went through the Whammy Bar on his guitar. He had to LEAVE and go to the hospital.

Saw them again in 1996 on the Quadrophina Tour. Also at Gorge circa 2002.

The Kingdome in ‘81? was legendary. I didn’t go
