F-16 are great and were cheap to build, but are they really an all timer like the others on this list? Note - I had to include the F-18 for @Swaye but I guess an F-16 is faster and more maneuverable right?

Uh, I don't remember the A-fucking-6 having FOUR movies in its series! No, it had one. And it was badass. Especially that scene where they fly over Whidbey.

I mean, Airwolf isn't a fighter jet, either, but it should be on this fucking list.

Also, fuck it, I don't care if this makes me soft or whatever, but I loved the Pearl Harbor movie. It came out back when I still had some hearing left, and I lost the rest of it cranking it up just to hear those P-40s. They did a great job with the sound effects.

I was only five when that movie came out, remember nothing about it, but vaguely recall thinking it was awesome that a kid not much older than me was flying an SR-71.

At the time, I didn't consider at all how ludicrous of a premise it was that there's this top secret spy plane sitting in a random hangar with the door open, fully fueled and ready to fly.
