Probably the most target rich environment

I think the 70s trumps it. You have to break that decade up into early 70s and late 70s.

OK Trumper

I love the 70s.

It's funny. I don't actually feel as though I like this song. It just triggers something pleasant in my brain. Just nostalgia I guess but I've never put a finger on it. Weird.

This was a better list than I would've expected.

My fucking heyday bitches! This decade is loaded with one hitters. You could've broken it up into New Wave, Buttrock, and Pop

So many options! I went with the phone number because you can sing 867 and someone in earshot will respond with 5309.

Also A-Ha was bigger in Europe, plus they did the title track for a bond movie, which wasn't bad. Also I strongly recommend checking out their unplugged album, with unplugged version of Take On Me.

That being said some others from the period:

This one actually caught some random traction last year. Matthew Wilder went on to produce some huge hits.

Kinda:

Western Washington fags.

I know you're out there.

When I was younger I always thought this was a Pink Floyd song. Kinda sounds like Young Lust.

Vision Quest is entirely about young lust.

Sporting wood walking up stadium stairs. Rolling around all sweaty.

I'll always consider The Outfield to be a one hit wonder. They had a couple of other minor hits that nobody fucking remembers (like one song made number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100), but come on, "Your Love" is an 80's anthem, and NOGAF about anything else they ever did.

Yeah. Glaring omission here. They had a few known tracks but definitely close to one hit territory.
