Rather easily, unless you ask me another time. Then it could be something else.

I was inclined to vote this way since George invented electric 12 string in rock and the Roger McGuinn copied him. I used to have a Rickenbacker 6 string.

Ticket to Ride is a legendary song. But from a guitarist standpoint, it doesn't stand out as a 12 string sound. Some people hear it distinctly, but many such as myself don't.

If I had to choose a Beatles song for this list, from the same album, I feel that I've Just Seen a Face and You've Got to Hide Your Love Away have that more unmistakable 12 string richness. The rhythm guitar in Help has it too.

As I type this, I realize I'm probably biased toward the acoustic 12 string.

Hotel California and Stairway are classic but over the hills is under appreciated and a real 12 stringer

Hmmm... @Fenderbender123 I've always heard the intro to Ticket to Ride as one of the most jangly Rickenbacker riffs out there. It's not the most virtuoso but still pretty iconic. But to you point any number of Beatles songs could be on this list- e.g., A Hard Day's Night, And Your Bird Can Sing, If I Needed Someone, etc...plus the other you mention.

Some of my most favorite 12 string riffs are the ones that are more subtle like the intro to Sloop John B or California Girls.

And Your Bird Can Sing would have gotten my vote by a mile if I had thought of it. It's my favorite song on Revolver and easily a top 10 Beatles song for me.

It's a great riff. I just don't hear a 12 string very well on it. George is playing one for sure, but it sounds more like a 6 string to me. Like I said, I'm just more of an acoustic 12 string guy.

Found out about 12 string(?) when this came out...still love it. Write-Ins: If I Needed Someone; Feel a Whole Lot Better...Harrison / McGuinn mutual admiration...

Very true, Base...threw those in because I would have voted for either song over a very strong field of existing choices...

Acoustic 12 string with no production effects added. Raw and fucking amazing

The live, electric version of that song that you most commonly hear is one of his best rwcordings.
