I have a bottle untouched and unopened in the liquor cabinet.
First time I've been able to buy a bottle in a store since like 2019 ish.
My local shoppe had a 500 person waitlist and I finally got a call today.
Probably a little easier out there by your house in KY.

Can get that at Thriftway in Tacoma once in a while. Also, some very seedy booze shop near S. 38th in T-Town that I would not recommend going to after dark.

I bought that stuff online as a gift to someone rather than deal with in-person. It think it was around $150 for a bottle.

I paid retail which is like $74 now.

As much as I love Buffalo Trace offerings I’m not one to hustle hard to track it down.

Buffalo Trace is really hard to find over here. I ran into a couple bottles while shopping for Christmas cards at a Rite Aid, which appears to be going out of business, for $33 per…

That’s crazy. I only bought my bottle because I was at a liquor store in Bardstown that had a contest. Each winner (4 total) got to buy a bottle at wholesale price which was $90ish for me.

As for being down the street and having an easier time buying bourbon, my bourbon snob friends have said it’s easier to get bourbon by driving up to Cincinnati than buying it locally. In 6 years, I think we’ve bought 2 bottles of bourbon, the unopened Blanton’s and a 3/4 full bottle of Woodford.

I had a glass of this at dinner with Mrs. Feces Saturday night. I wouldn’t normally pay that much for a drink, but it was our anniversary dinner, so fuck it. I’d never had it before, but I remember you yahoos talking about it. Wasn’t disappointed.

Restaurant whiskey is a nice treat and Blanton's is good stuff.
