Deserves a different thread, but the FIFA Doc on Netflix is both good and absolutely comical if you take a step back and look at it in context. FIFA has always been corrupt. However they made the mistake of humiliating Clinton and Obama in front of the globe by picking Qatar instead of the US. Amazingly enough soon after the FBI starts investigating, indict a bunch of underlinings at FIFA but not the main guy, “recover” and give FIFA ~$200MM, and magically the US was awarded the 2026 World Cup soon after. And to top it off the main FBI guy doing it was the same FBI guy that originally got the fake Steele Dossier, of which it was unaccounted for in his possession for a period of time. Can’t make this shite up.

We live in a #BananaRepublic, at least if you don’t take multiple Covid boosters and keel over from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome…

Side note: funniest and most blatant part of the racket that is Qatar getting the World Cup is that the NatGasPumpers spent so much money to get it, that it was totally okay to move the event smack dab in the peak of the real football season thereby sacrificing a good chunk of the most valuable sports viewing market in the world.
