G5 team at best should be similar to a play-in game when there are a couple games to play as the 16 seed vs a one seed.
Between the Big Ten and sec they deserve 9 slots between the two conferences. The Big 12 and ACC are dreck this year and each conference only deserves one bid each imo.

The Group of 5 should play either the second best team in the Big12 or ACC or the lowest ranked of the last bid of the auto 9th guaranteed slots between the Big Ten/SEC. Example Virginia vs Navy winner becomes the 12th seed
