GOP stance on marijuana

That's the Devil's weed!

PS, saying it's a "state issue" is the biggest fucking cop out answer these days.

Schedule 2 > Schedule 1

Until then, it will always be a federal issue.

The GOP take on Marijuana is FS. Why can't they see that if they moderated their stance, they would win over a decent amount of 18-40 year olds and also get FREE PUB!

If you can't see that they don't care about winning over voters OR free pub and they're part of a government that gets kick-backs, extorts cartels and makes more money off its illegality, then I can't help you.

Perry, Cruz, Bush, Paul say states rights when they dont want to deal with an issue, the rest want the federal gov in your body. Got it.

FIFY

didn't you really mean to say FTUFY?

IF I wanted to make a stupid cheesy partisan post to divert from the topic, I would have.

So if the government was truly getting massive kickbacks, extorting pot cartels, and making more money of its illegality, then why wouldn't the Dems be against it? They love taking money from people and giving it to others more than anyone else around.

In reality, the most sensible explanation is that the Republicans are too beholden to their Christian Conservative voters who cry foul at any "drug". What they need is a true leader who says their approach is FS, that legalization will create business opportunities for entrepreneurs around the country, and tax revenues could be used at the Federal level to balance the budget.

I'm just posting fact. And both parties are fucked up and want big government. The only difference is the issue at hand.

Disagree.

Need more states rights kinds of things. You don't want to smoke dope legally, move to a state where it's possible. You want to have an abortion, trek over to a state where that's allowed. Want to shoot assault rifles and pack heat, pack your bags for Texas or Wyoming or someplace where that's part of their culture/laws.

Same concept as a business makes on whether to put a factory in this state or that. Weight the pros and cons. If you don't like it, don't go there or, if you do, LEAVE!

That's a well-thought out rebuttal.
