i still have no idea how they'd find 87k people who want to work for the IRS. ive said this before, but i dont think youre gonna be able to find enough big 4 burnouts holdin that big of a grudge to go to the IRS.

No way they raise anywhere near the money they budgeted. But then raising revenue wasn't the purpose of 87k more agents.
PS I know of no former Big 4 CPAs that went to work for the IRS. On the other hand, I know of several former IRS agents that went to work for the Big 4.
