The part that is infuriating is the rhino types that keep getting elected in basically non contested states. Republicans should have close to 60 if they didn’t waste their time and energy on defeating non rhinos in the primaries.
Example is John Cornyn has had like $64m in ads on this primary, a decent chunk of it from Thune’s controlled money that basically won’t be usable in the general in Michigan or something where you coulda tally flip a seat.
