On the bright side, we are fortunate that we jumped to the Big-10 in time for this. It will be much easier to attract a good coach as one of the "haves" than in anyone left out of the only 2 conferences that matter anymore.

They related to Saban ok…Pete (and Saban) are not your typical 70+year olds. In the coaching business there are stages…you start out as the cool older brother, then the cool younger uncle, and when you hit 40, that’s dad territory. The best can adjust and navigate through it, the rest sell insurance in Centralia, nttawwt…

I'd love to know who would be better.....

Carroll would instantly add more attention to the team country wide than we were even able to get this year, kids lap that shit up, it'd be like deion but not going 4-8.
