Go DJ

Kirk Herbstreit is still saying Dillon Johnson is “the forgotten man in this offense.”

Any update on DJ? He was in the game at then end. Going to need him for these last two games.

Needs 121 yards for 1000 on the season. He’s averaging almost 6 yards per carry. I think anyone here would have given a left nut to have a 1000 yard back averaging 6 yards per carry after the first 4 games when Washington had no running game

He's Hardcore Husky's adopted pod

I thought of him last night while watching the end of the Egg Bowl. MSU had a RB wearing number 7 and I thought he’s no Dillon Johnson.

Dillon Johnson led the PAC 12 in rushing in conference play with 964 yards

I'm hearing UW can't run the ball

They couldn’t the first few games but that was also when Penix was throwing 500 yards a game.

Couldn't, or wouldn't?

I’d lean towards couldn’t only because DJ wasn’t looking 100% then. We didn’t know that at the time and thought he was a JAG.

The morphing of this offense has been very interesting to watch. Exciting at times and excruciating at others. But as you like to say, winners win.

I think Grubb and DeBoer were content with letting Penix tear apart teams through the air and pad his stats.
