General Thoughts

C+ b/c of the two turnovers and 543 penalties. Secondary had too many blown coverages also. A very good or great team would have put their boots on the Illini throats... or scalped them or whatever analogy you like when it was 31-10

And thats what this season comes down to. Sark & his staff have to take what we have now and turn it into a very good or great team as the season progresses. That means its competitive in every game and blows away average teams at home and on the road.

Saw some good things (especially pass rush), but the run defense and pass coverage was spotty at times.

I'd give them a B- for this game. Overall, LIFPO.

I'd give them a C, and I don't want to hear another word about how great Wilcox is. The jury is out. Those fucks brought back bad memories of last year's Apple Cup. Best advice on the bored, LIFPO.

- Good to great skill players except for fatso Jenkins.
- Decent O line play
- Overall, Sloppy
- Undisciplined
- Marginal intensity
- Blown coverages
- Poor D line play
- C play calling......still too many dumb calls. (This grade is a big improvement for Shark.)

This team is a little better than last year it appears. However, Oregon will ass rape this squad.

I still see an 8 - 4 team.

Sankey is really fucking good (All American/Doak Walker good)

A healthy Keith Price who gets time to throw is a REALLY dangerous weapon

Oline continues to look much better in this hurry up

Sark needs to fix these fucking penalties 12 for 102 is unacceptable. No improvement from last year

Sankey needs to be option 1 in the RZ

Callier had a nice game, and Washington was a MAJOR disappointment, especially after his good performance against BSU

How do you only score 34 with over 600 yds offense?

Obviously a failed attempt at sarkasm. I agree with most in this thread. Things I found most concerning were the defense damn near choking the game away, the fucking penalties, and an offense that racks up 600 yards with only 34 points to show for it. That makes two in a row for the offense not producing points to match yards gained. This team still has the potential to get its ass blown out by better competition.
