I'm embarrassed to admit to listening to Brock and Salk (Brock's great, but Salk sucks and their content is usually shit), but I caught him this morning too. Gee readily admitted to not having seen a single practice, but that "the peers" on the team like Haener more. He clearly pulled it straight from his ass, the same place he gets the rest of his takes from.
Nevermind that Caple and Vorel have both said that Eason appears to be in the lead. Or that our messiah @sonics1993 has echoed the same thoughts. No, we're gonna ask a car detailer with almost zero ties to the program what his thoughts are on the QB battle. Fuck off Gee.

Radio in general sucks. At least I can yell “you are a fucking idiot” at my radio when listening to 710 and Salk speak about almost anything. Brock is good, Salk can have some ok takes but most of the time he is cringe worthy. I didn’t think anything would rivals Jerry and Elise on 950 when it comes to ear bleeding but whenever Salk and Gee interact it is pretty close.

Salk is insufferable. I catch them between 7 and 8 in the mornings usually and I have noticed the last year or so they cut the Husky talk way back and barely gloss over them. Its all hawt 12 talk and mariner garbage.

How Gee has a job in radio is baffling. The guy offers no insight into anything, and it's pretty clear that he has very little depth, even when it comes to sports, which should be his wheelhouse. What a dud you are, Gee.
Salk can at least be entertaining and he generally knows his shit about pro sports, but he has some scorchingly shitty takes. And the fact that their show is 95% minutiae about every insignificant aspect of the Seahawks makes it a hard listen.

Salk is a huge Cuog fan. He also thinks every player that the Seahawks draft will be a superstar. Russell Wilson has never made a bad play in his life and if anyone is even remotely critical of him they are a hater.

Salk despises CFB and sounds annoyed every time he has to talk about it. Brock had a segment earlier this week where he shared some impressions from a closed practice he attended and Salk kept on interrupting him with stupid jokes and mocking of the Huskies. Brock's as even keeled as a guy you'll ever see yet I could sense the agitation in his voice.
KJR was among the first in the nation to copy the Mike and Mad Dog show and go all sports like WFAN in the very early 90's
One of their first hosts was Keith Shipman who worked at channel 13. He was soft spoken and Seattle nice which is exactly what you don't want. Then we got the Fabulous Sports Babe who loved the Canes more than @creepycoug during the 1991 season. I forget the lead guy but Jeff the Fisherman was his sidekick and he lasted through early Mitch in the Morning.
And who can forget the two fat fucking idiots in afternoon drive. Typologists to the max. That was the end for me with local sports radio
I dooged out to the honks when they started but they too were victims of Ty
Even Mitch would bring on Beano Cook once a week which was fun but Beano also sucked Ty off.
