God I loved them coming out of HS. One of my most embarrassing TBS moments. The other being Paul Arnold.

He’s a kid that can’t come home because of his dad, and because of his dad’s pride won’t leave OSU until it’s too late for him to have time in another program to shine. He’s the epitome of a kid who should transfer to Boise St...he’ll play quick and be more athletic than 99% of the kids he plays against, get some pub for it, and maybe develop enough from playing their to get a late round shot in the NFL. Not what his dad built up for him in his head, but a much more realistic path to success.

No, his dad is such an asshole that people wish his son to fail. That is the narrative. Nothing against the junior kids seems to be fine. But fuck his father.
 
You guys are underestimating the traits of a narcissistic asshole. If, at any time, Gee Sr gets the feeling that he can sell the narrative of his son transfering back home to UW as a "prodigal son" or returning "hometown hero" for his own gain, he will 100% do that
