Gee Scott Jr, 4* 2020 WR, Bellevue (Eastside Catholic), WA (Offered 6/19)

I personally think he would be an upgrade from some of our WR on the team right now. He has really strong hands, and does not catch with his body s/o @StrongArmCobra not sure he has top end speed, but has good quickness. Anyone have an idea if he is shithead like his dad? if so, we need to fucking pass. if not we should have offered.

Kids good, we didn’t offer, he gone.

Merry Christmas

Good for this kid. If this is truly where he wanted to go, good for him. I personally don't know about committing to a school where the head coach is leaving. I know it has worked out for Oklahoma, so far, but I also wouldn't be surprised if things took a downturn (I'm making the Stanford is going to take a dip now that Harbaugh is gone argument for those following along). But yes, I also wouldn't be surprised if there is a de-commitment moving forward, but would attribute most of that to a change in staff, philosophy, etc on Ohio State's end. They are likely getting a new head coach and WR coach, and wouldn't be surprised if some coaches left for other programs.

there are basically 2 types of kids nowadays:

One who commits with a tweet

One who commits 2-3 times with a video

Bandes video was not like the normal video. Have we had a single over the top video commit?

Im setting the video commits o/u at 3 for the ‘20 class and I’m taking the over.

Making a video and having someone “produce” a video are the difference.

If we get WRs of equal or greater value, then IDGAF. If we recruit WRs like we did this year (thus far) then there is an issue.

Good for him. I have no hate for him and wish him nothing but the best. With that being said, I'm surprised his Ohio State offer was committable this early in the process. I don't see the speed there and his Junior season highlights are underwhelming to many others that I've watched. I would honestly take Sawyer Racanelli over him. But to each their own. Good luck to him.
