I think that whatever he writes will actually be interesting. I personally expect Jr to stay loyal to his tOSU commitment but I am sure the Gee family is thankful for Pete offering based on whatever the criteria was... in offering Gee, I don't think that Pete actually expects this offer to be accepted by Gee, but that it was made as proof that Pete does honor his own process. If Gee had done what Pete asked and then Pete didn't offer simply because Gee was committed somewhere else it would suggest that Pete isn't true to his word and so I think the offer to Gee is actually a good look where Pete offers a kid who isn't interested.

I'm not sure that anything Gee Sr. writes about the process is going to be useful for me. I think his viewpoint and mindset are so different from mine that I find it hard to understand/empathize, even when I try.

Useful? LOL. Nothing about this recruiting world is useful. I said interesting as in entertaining.
 
I seriously doubt he is coming here and I'm torn. Part of me screams why the fuck didn't we offer him earlier? The old man in me says trust the process. FML

There is no reason to empathize. Gee Jr has tons of offers from all over the country.

Either way it'll be interesting. Gee will likely spill a lot of candid stories about personal interactions with coaches that we usually don't get. He'll also probably talk shit about the ones he thinks are disengenuous and give some good dirt.
