to some extent, i resent pete's risk averseness. It is like constructing an investment portfolio. take a risk for a higher return, if he flames out at least overall portfolio will be fine given that most of the kids are OKG

I personally think Gee Scott Jr is fucking amazing talent and I would LOVE to have that kid a dawg...I also believe in Pete's process and strategy and so I can't criticize because you see the combine NFL guys talking about the love of their teammates and you have to believe that Pet'e's got system that doesn't tolerate 99.5% buy-in - you gotta be 100...not sure if this is unfixable...I hope it isn't, but I'll leave it to Pete and Gee Jr to work that out.

You think Petersen would rather have Gee Scott than Wilson or Jalen McMiillan? I don't. Humphreys probably a wash. Don't hear much about Josh Jackson but since he's already been offered that seems a wash too. And although Gary Bryant is different he's probably better than Gee too. Wash out on all or most of those and he might throw the Scotts' a desperation offer but I question even that. Sawyer Racanelli probably has a better chance of an offer at this point.
 
Yeah, from a talent and performance perspective I think gee Jr is up there and there is something to be said about keeping the fsp pipeline homegnous.

But it seems that Peterman would rather recruit "cleaner" kids from farther away and spend more resources in doing so.

I don't k ow how many spaces we have for wide receivers though for the next year
