So I got a free bus pass with my frequent miles card. The tickets to the game were basically free cause, you know, no one gives a shit about football in Palo Alto. And there's free lodging at a hostel, cause you know the ghetto. And it's California, so like tons of free food and shit.

Who else will be there?

I will be....

near the game...planning to stay at home about 5 minutes south of the stadium... will be waiting til my kid goes to sleep then start drinking boxed wine and snacking on flamin' hot cheetos.
 
I'll be there, but only because I live about 10 minutes away and my Stanford buddies are giving me free tix. Now I get to go and mock their ugly coeds in person.
 
I was going to go, but I can't stomach the idea of tailgating with a bean farmer who walked barefoot through Pakistan/India and never had a more peaceful time.

Old Pro is a decent sports bar, been there a few times. Probably gonna be there with a group of buddies boozing for a few hours before the game.
 
These chicks are terrible. I'd smash them all, but that means nothing.

Went to the 2011 game (we? lost 65-21). After the game, went to Old Pro. On the way, a fat Guido-looking Stanford fan stops me and says, "it's ok to be 2nd place in life" I replied with it's ok to fat, ugly and stupid. Brawl almost followed.

Old Pro is actually a great place to eat. The chef is one of those Napa Valley wine restaurant guys who wanted a sports bar, so he opened up in Palo Alto and named it like a sports bar, but the food quality and creativity is very un-Goldie's like.
