Game Day in Corvallis???

has gameday been to boov? would be a classy move by espn by going.

“Sorry we helped kill your conference, but we got the guys out to Corvallis once!”

It has. There’s only like 4 or 5 schools they haven’t been to. Cal is the only Pac12 school not to host it, IIRC

Is Herbstreit gonna be on the call for UW-OSU? It’s a bit of a time crunch to pull that off for a 7:30 EST kick, but it’s the game of the day based on rankings.

He does this all the time. I assume they can fly him into PDX (ILTCIPDXIWILTD) then another smaller aircraft, maybe a helicopter to Corvallis.

Actually, we need to get @Logistics to tell us if and how this would work.
 
I mean, I know he does that all the time, but I can't recall how many were full on westbound transcon flights to get to the game to call. ~4 hour flights, sure, but I don't know the particulars of the type of plane available plus the runway lengths at airports out by Harrisonburg. Dulles is a 2 hour drive and with headwinds you're looking at pushing 5 hours.

I'm sure I'll dig into this rabbit hole today.
