Gaetz seems like a bullshit artist to me who's into promoting himself as much as anything else. That's just my takeaway from 30,000 feet as I haven't wasted time following him closely. But if he can actually get appointed and stays committed to massive reforms at the DOJ and overhauling the FBI, etc that sounds fine by me.
Deep State DOJ hamstrung Trump from Day One because Jeff Sessions was a pussy who recused himself for no good reason from the bogus Russia investigation. Rosenstein took the lead. It’s actually quite amazing what Trump did accomplish in his first term. He won’t have the same dipshits he had to select in his first term in leadership positions, and he has a mandate from the voting public to rid the government of the subversive lifers only in it for themselves, the global corporate/military complex, and China.
Take a fucking sickle into DOJ leadership and eliminate the top 4 levels of every department. No one will know the difference.

Very well could be. The can’t shoot everyone down, there will be someone that gets super scrutinized. Gaetz could be a smokescreen for the real choice that they want that isn’t as based but maybe even more effective.

Most Americans assume Gaetz did something because authorities said so

Senate could be the plan as Trump the gets a more widely accepted, yet just as dedicated to real justice, AG in place while also having another strong ally in the Senate with Gaetz.
Would be a nice head fake as pseudo-compromise.
