It would be nice if UW is now in the driver's seat. We? need a QB and I imagine he'd like a clean shot at starting after redshirting.

The only thing surprising is Missouri

When your NIL strategy openly says that you’re not interested in paying recruits because 1) they haven’t done anything yet and 2) you’re worried about locker room dynamics …

The only HS recruits you’re going to get are those who view UW as their best option and by default can’t do better … UW will never be a first choice with the current strategy and approach

Unless YOU have proof in HAND...it’s speculation for YOU. ‘Those who know’....meaning YOU are not a ‘THOSE’. I didn’t create the English language but ‘speculation’ is pretty cut and dry. Unless you are an eye witness, YOU are speculating. Word of mouth is not proof.

Saying that losing an in-state 4 star QB when your HC strength is selling his offense to MISSOURI isn’t a good thing

I don’t really care the reason …

Player didn’t want to be here (BS given visits and stated top target; sell better)

Have targets that you like better so WDWHA (how many QBs have been offered)

Ultimately it comes down to who you sign … so if the class comes down to signing a 2 star from South Dakota … the apologists can full blown FUCK OFF

I’d assume that’s why some are sitting there saying there’s more to the story

It’s just odd how UW is approaching anything tied to recruiting … if he’s really the top QB on board you do what you need to lock him up versus a collective stringing along
 
I’ve never thought Johnson was very good. Yeah, I get why it’s concerning, but he’s not a QB that will move the needle.
