Except Cho Bai Den wanted higher gas prices. That's why he stopped federal oil and gas leases and terminated the Keystone XL pipeline and has his energy department looking at closing down additional US pipelines. Plus the dementia patient and his puppet masters would put in a federal carbon tax and use a huge per ton federal cost input on any energy production that emits CO2. They support all the carbon tax and cap and trade that Cali has adopted that makes their energy so expensive. Now they will just ignore all their policies and blame Russia for their impact on US production. Remember when that illiterate snowbilly said Drill, Baby, Drill and then the smartest president evah said we couldn't drill our way to lower energy prices.
