Disagree. Boston might ask about the QB competition next year but I bet he wants to have his Odunze season and get payed next year on montlake. Second rounder this year or first rounder next year
 
I think Boston comes back, Durfee fights the NCAA and comes back (he has a shoe-in case and got better as the year went on)

Need to get an impact CB in the portal, a few more d-lineman, a WR, and a maybe an o-lineman
 
Need a real tight end too. Boston walked out on senior day, he gone as he should be.
 
not having a difference making TE at UW is sacrilege. Probably doesn’t help our state stopped producing them.

I said preseason over and over again WR/TE outside of Boston was a huge issue. It’s weird Demond was so off with Evans. Guy was wide open at least 3 times and completely missed.
 
The frosh WRs looked great against the trash and were lost for the most part against better teams.
Roebuck flashed a few times including against Ohio State.
I do not understand why the short passing game isn't utilized more. Almost makes me yearn for the days of the Sark bubble screen. Did we throw a screen all year? Bizarre.
Demond needs help getting into a rhythm that Fisch doesn't provide.

Fisch was a shitty OC in the NFL and in college. He still sucks calling plays and needs to give it up.

Williams had a terrible game, but I’m not ready to jump off the cliff like many.

It does nothing right now, but we will be good next year. We need a few pieces but most of the guys that make plays and look good anre freshman annd sophomores.
Oregon is better. We needed to play and coach well to win and that didn’t happen.
 
RTDB and short passing worked, Judd called WAY too many long developing pass plays. Move the pocket and work with the skillsets you have
 
at the game there were noticeable plays where it seemed like Uw was doing the worst of the Petersen stuff of slow play action and like two guys running routes and both were always covered.

This. Against a D as good as Oregon’s the offense needs quicker plays, hit the holes fast, short passes, etc. the stretch plays, naked boots and delay shit just fed right into Lanning’s hands.
Once again, Fisch calls a game like he doesn’t know who he’s playing against

Against the real teams Demond looks like a high schooler.

Im curious as to what Coleman's draft stock is at. Even before he was hurt, he wasnt great against teams not called UC Davis

Nonsense. 8 WRs went in the first two rounds in '25. He's a top 5 prospect at the position. What would be stupid financially is delaying your 2nd NFL contract by a full year. Nevermind the 50th pick next year is going to get a 9 million dollar contract. There's nothing dumb about a talented player betting on himself.

Defense once again played well enough to win while the offensive genius couldn't score enough.
