Freshmen OL bring impressive size boost to Washington's front

Well only Taulealea is actually 340 lbs (350 lbs). He'll probably RS if he can't get tone up.
The other guys who came in early are all under 340 (Schaefer at 325, Mills at 320, and Flores at 295).

If they move like pre-injury Trey Adams and also Kaleb McGary, then I'm good with it.
I could be wrong but I think both of those guys were well under 300 lbs when they arrived. Petersen liked tall guys that could gain weight. Rosengarten was under 300 too.

I feel like the times we have touted having yuuuuuge OLs they haven't been able to move and we have sucked. The early-2000s version my dad referred to as the Circus Elephants. Not saying it won't work, but certainly feels like a lazy metric.
The '85 and '86 Huskies had highly-touted huge offensive lines… but they ended up being too slow
I remember the chatter in summer 2008 being that the OL would be big and a strength of the team, especially with Juan Garcia!! back early from injury. Since then, I've assumed talk of UW having a big OL = fat and useless
Didn’t little Jimmy Cornell get kicked out of a practice right before that?
I believe you are correct.
