20+ years ago me and two buddies Xavier and Francis drove from New York into Quebec at 2AM, got pulled out of the car and put in separate rooms, and interrogated for 90 minutes.

We never figured that out. But they pulled us from the car when Xavier, who didn't speak any english, answered them in french and one of us made a joke about what he said, and the three of us started laughing, and suddenly we were told to step out of the car. The agent interviewing me wanted to know what my purpose was in Canada and they didn't seem to like my boring answers.
