That pretty much cements that this is a legit prospect. It's hard to watch that film and not be very, very impressed. It's crazy how many guys get overlooked. This guy was basically a Big Sky recruit until coaches saw his highlight film that just recently came out. He's blown up the last two weeks.
 
Agree. If he grew up in socal he would have been discovered earlier by the recruiting services and gotten a 3star rating a year ago. I've never heard of Seliacroom, so I assume it simply was ignored by schools/Ektard.
 
Kid looks like a man. Passes my pre pubescent test that Nick Montana, Max Browne and countless others have failed. I'm no Hugh Millen but one of my criteria is that the recruit looks like he's 25 rather than 15.

So, this morning I had to watch his highlight tape one more time, along with my morning caffeine.

Jeezus. Not exactly a church school player. I'm sure kids just hand him their lunch money. He doesn't even have to ask.

It's hard for any of us to know who is left on the board, and what Petermen's needs are at this stage (though he clearly needs a couple interior DLs). But if there is a scholarship available...just one...this is the guy.

Recruiting is a political game. The NFL is full of kids who fell through the cracks for all sorts of reason. Kids that play for shitty programs get punished. Even in So Cal, there are tons of kids overlooked. Kids get punished for not having the money or awareness to go to camps. The high school coach needs to be active in promoting his guys. Steilacoom is not used to having D-1 players.

If Leiato went to Bellevue, Skyline, Eastside Catholic, O'Dea, or even Lakes, I doubt he would have gone under the radar for so long.

Everyone looks good on their highlights. This staff definitely does their homework. I am not worried about that. Seems like he would be great on special teams.
 
Uhh, no. Everybody looks good in their highlight video, but this one has gone viral for a reason. It's different.
 
according to sources, an identical kid is already committed. Been committed for 2 months. You don't take 2 of these.
