It's a documentary, not a drama based on real events, but for motorsports movies, my favorite ever is Faster[/i].

It's the only thing I've ever watched that really changed my life. Growing up poor white trash, I had no idea that racing even existed outside of four wheels and long ovals. "Holy shit, this is a thing[/i]!?" Finished watching the movie, went out and bought a motorcycle without even trying one first, and the rest was history.

Not quite as life changing, but I'm also a huge fan of this other motorsports documentary:
