Disagree on the equivalency point, I think the chins to fuck off ratios seen in the tug clearly point to it being a right wing place. For my money Bob and Hondo are equally ridiculous (to say nothing of Sledog), yet only the latter has truly emerged as a bonafide punching bag for literally everyone.

But good point on the Tug being the storm water drain for oppressed political speech in the football forums. But I still think that outlet should be elsewhere, especially when you have people like Sledog unironically referring to gay folks as fags on a daily basis. That's not a good look for the site, and I don't think removing that element necessarily undermines the mission of this being a place that celebrates debauchery and candidness.
