For my Dan Carlin guys

Sounds like this one will cover 1937 until the first German Stukas hitting the USS Arizona.
 
I think what I love most about Carlin's pods are his reading of the source material which is, of course, great for this period of history. I was always lazy at academis and just a pretend historian who didn't like reading the dry source material. But Dan really finds the best cuts and brings them to life.
 
I don't think Pearl Harbor counts as a pyrrhic victory because the Japanese losses were pretty much nill during the actual attack but mang did they wake the sleeping giant. Did you guys (and 2 gals) know that of the 6 IJN carriers that were involved in the sneak attack, we sunk 4 not more than a half year later at Midway. Talk about an ass whooping.
 
So @GrundleStiltzkin I am guessing it will be mid summer by the time we get to midway. FOLs.
