I think moving Shaq to the SS spot where Parker played might be a good idea. Parker will be the hardest defender to replace, Shaq was always projected as a safety and he's our best defender. We have 3 decently rated linebackers that will be RS freshman next year. Plus Timu/Feeny/Liddleton and hopefully Shirley. Not nearly as much depth in the defensive backfield.

If he moves, who do you think the starters would be? Something like:

DE: Kikaha
DT: Shelton
DT: Mathis
DE: Farria
OLB: Feeney
MLB: Timu
OLB: Shirley
CB: Peters
SS: Thompson
FS: King
CB: Kelly

yea something like that.

doesnt the DC play a 4-2-5? or was that just a bullshit rumor?
 
UW finally has a real coach so moving Shaq to safety isn't a surprise.

At SS he can have a Kam Chancellor like impact. UW is losing both safeties as well.

Glad to see this long overdue move happening.
