well, at least he didn't take a lot of blows to the head. Mike Leach could pull it off. Still, I wouldn't want to play for somebody that didn't put the time in. Some people might.

Then again, winning 10 games at Arizona is probably more difficult to do, than winning a national championship at a football school.

Just give him a 4 year deal. We will know if he needs to be fired after year 3. His buyout better be at least $30 million. $50 million if he leaves for Florida.

I sense a bunch of 7-5/8-4 years with this hire. Not that exciting, nor fun hire.

Clear trajectory, and most importantly he is probably bringing half the team with him so we might not suck dick this year

There's literally not a qb that isn't a walk on on the roster unless you count the 3 star true freshman on the roster next year [/b]

And even for players who don't want to leave Arizona, sports might be getting chopped, the school is 240 million in the red

Yeah there is no way Arizona’s NIL is in the same league as ours right now. Their school has way too many other problems to deal with than NIL.
 
I don't have an issue with Arizona but cmon, they've been doing this shit in basketball forever. They're slowly killing Gonzaga from the inside to bolster their program long term.

They can't afford a real football team and we just played in the National Championship. They will be in a great conference for basketball but it's borderline G5 for football. It is what it is.
