Said he hopes to have all the defensive hires done by Monday. Also will be delaying spring ball as long as possible in the hopes that other schools are done and more kids are in the portal and can be brought in before UW's camp starts.
He also said that he had a 45 minute call with UW before being offered the job later the same day.
 
Also said that he's tapping into Pete Carroll a lot and that he'll be around UW football quite a bit, and referenced the businesses and people in the Seattle-area who he wants onboard with the program.
 
Lastly, he mentioned challenging his staff to make 2025 the best recruiting class in the history of the program. He said they'll be playing freshmen right away.

UW isn't fucking around right now. Signs are everywhere. Fisch, the AD, and AMC all seem to be on a mission and ready/willing to jump into this era with both feet. *We shouldn't be surprised by anything at this point. There were many signs but I think the decision to help euthanize the PAC 12 was the big tipping point. You don't make a move like that unless you're prepared to go all the way.
I'm thinking that AMC might be the next statue outside Alaska Airlines field at Husky Stadium.

In some sense I was if DeBoer remained at the helm. The guy was 25-3 here afterall.
But, the way the President, AD, and program responded to the DeBacle proved it's not just one savant catch dragging the football team along. Everyone is bought in and the Fisch hiring and subsequent stream of info since then has proved it.
Hell, I thought wed be on Apple TV with no one watching not long ago.
