I hadn't thought about it but there are definitely people who come on this board and have no idea why they are called Chincredibles and for that reason they need to stay
Chins were just one of may quirks that as a new fish I appreciated about this site.

Yes, in the big scheme of things anonymous internet message boards are meaningless.

I've discussed a compromise with Stalin in PM. I'll let him take it from there. People will still complain, but oh well. The Chincredible thing wasn't here originally. I wouldn't care if it was just temporary for a month and people could get their laughs, but it's lingered for years.

I couldn’t do it. I started to and realized I wasn’t 100% on the pronunciation and if it was Kay-nal or canal and it would’ve been an obvious press. Then you just sound stupid and they wonder why you tried to force a word and eventually realize you just wanted to say anal.
