Had Texas won it would have been the worst Husky defeat in memory, surpassing the basketball team Couging to UConn in the sweet 16 in 2006.

That was the horror unfolding. Praise allah for Elijah Jackson.

Would have been the worst sports moment in Seattle history.

Worse that Russ’s pick in the Super Bowl.

Because this game was over.

REAL God had turned on UW, but then he got his mind right.

My calling card to Oregon the last 20 years is - Washington doesn't lose when they play for the title. They may not get there often and they may suck in between but when they get their shot they win. Even though they get voted in to the shot.

That almost went away. I can't think of a worse loss - even UCLA 1990

The moral of my story is - Beat Michigan and go 4-0 in title bowl games

If we win, we better fucking claim 1984 and hang the banner already.

I’m young so I don’t care about claiming 84, but I’m fucking pissed when BYU does

Also I went to that Sweet 16 debacle. Forgot to add to my list of Husky losses in the last 20 years. This team breaks all the jinxes.

UW losing another NY6 bowl and Ducks winning theirs would have been a bit tough

We've been in this situation where a team has a good chance to tie or win the game so many times this year.

🥱

Petros was just on KJR and one of the first things he said was "Dillon Johnson is a warriors but my God, you gotta find a way to grt off the field in that situation"

I watched a snail crawl along the edge of a straight razor. That's my dream; that's my nightmare. Crawling, slithering, along the edge of a straight razor... and surviving.

I honestly don't think anyone knew the clock stoppage rule (when you're not actually trying fake an injury to kill the clock). If anyone did, I think the linemen would have carried him off.

Yeah my money is he and mostly likely others didn't know. I think it's a rule they gotta look at in the offseason. I would add pass interference not being a spot foul. That Rome bomb PI only being 15 yards ended up being a big win for Texas.
