I have to say though, I agree with your dad, and that might be because I'm probably closer to his age than yours, but there is no way seven win Steve was going to get by with that mediocrity ad infinitum, and he knew it. He was feeling the heat, you could see it in his mannerisms and general state leading up to and during big games. In the end, he did what all posers do, LEAVE, before he was tossed. He got lucky. USC's athletic department is being run by a very smart man who made a very big mistake. UW got lucky too. We're rid of the poser and at the expense of our historical nemesis. And our mighty cajun leprechaun pulled a friggin rabbit out of the hat and hired one of most credentialed coaches in the country. It's a great time to be a Husky Derek, enjoy it! .. but in the true HH spirit, LIFPO! We'll celebrate big when this thing is finally turned around, whether it's under Peterman or someone else ... but keep the faith, fight in the shade, this fucker will turn around!
