The bill that Rand opposed was a Disaster Relief bill in the same way that the dementia patients BBB is an infrastructure bill. Sending money to Puerto Rico was like sending money to inner city schools and expecting it would be spent on education.

I think you missed the point of Paul's speech in 2017, but I'm not surprised. The issue had to do with the cost of the bill and the pork that the $36.5 billion plan went towards. Asking for assistance is never an issue. 100% of congress would even support disaster relief for shithole California if they were assured the money would be spent efficiently. You can't throw money at a problem and expect the problem to be solved. There needs to be a plan behind it. But way to miss the point like you always do. But but but, those damn standardized tests.
