I met Pappy at an airshow when I was just a kid. I was in awe because I had read about him in a book on aviation heroes. Anyway, when I was talking to him he was real nice, and was sort of answering my questions, but would kind of trail off and babble. So I asked one of my Dad's, "what's wrong with him," and he answered, "he's drunk." I patterned my entire life after him from that day forward.
