Favorite season as a UW fan

I was too young to remember the Natty. Tui Rose Bowl season was epic but this takes the cake. We lost to fucking MONTANA at home two years ago. These guys battled but eventually playing in so many close games (this was close until halfway through the 4th) you will be on the other side of the coin.

Actually playing for the natty is far better than a meaningless 34-24 win over a mediocre Purdue team that arguably is the worst team to ever make the Rose Bowl.

That team should have played for the national title, though, and the most annoying thing was how nobody except UW fans realized that. Remember how the sole controversy was FSU getting in over Miami? And nobody remembered that Washington beat Miami?
