Was on my way to a family get together and everyone was bringing seafood or related item. I decided to bring a geoduck for chowder and generally an all around laugh

I stop by my favorite bar carrying a geoduck in a bag. Sitting there, people are asking what I have in the bag (insert Kimmie what's in the bag.jpg). So I had them play a game and I promised that I had not ripped the bottom of the bag out. (I wish) Anyway generated a lot more laughs than clam chowder. Took all night to clean that damn clam, I think my brother broke a couple of knives trying to skin it.

I'm 1 for 1 in geoduck hunting. Got one on my first try. The damn thing was YUGE and must have been born in the 1800s.

Getting geoduck’s is easy with two people. Dig around, one pinches his head as heard as he can the other gets him from the digging around. On a 7th grade field trip, we probably got 20 of them. Maybe they were razor clams. I know they are similar but there isn’t something different about them.
 
I made ciopinno last night. Clams, shrimp, salmon, crab. No mussels. Mussels taste like a pier in commencement bay.

I agree with him this time and his description fits. I dont care for anything that still has its insides inside of it.

I do try to avoid the big mussels. Only buy the small ones as it makes the insides seem less gross. Still love em though.

Fried razor clam fillets or strips are possibly my favorite single seafood item. Steamers though? Nah. Too many guys. I'll eat small oysters wrapped in bacon and grilled to crispy deliciousness. That's about it for me for non-gutted critters.

I like mussels, but that is a good meal for sure.
 

Said Shrimp caus those royal reds are hard to beat but being from gulf coast, hard to go wrong with any seafood, imo.

Crabs are really up there with shrimp ....and it’s hard to beat fresh seared tuna steaks, smoked sword fish, grilled wahoo, oysters from raw to Rockefeller, fresh scallops or fried cobia nuggets.

And crawfish are a yuge take in this area. From backyard mudbug boil gatherings to restaurant plate fulls all you can eat this time of year.

Well, if you really want to know Lobster is superior to all of the aforementioned. Doesn't get much better than a lobstah roll sitting alongside the Bahstan Hahbah on a sunny day.

Except Bahstonians. They kind of fuck up the experience.

Very similar to Marylanders.
