If I have chicken on the salad, than blue cheese. Caesar salad's are amazing, but on a regular, boring side salad, italian or balsamic is what I normally with. Whoever said the Olive Garden dressing was right, that's a bitchin' dressing.

I don't love most of the premade ones. Just pour some oil and vinegar with a little mustard and mix for 10 secs with the immersion blender

Add a little crystal light powder for a just a little sweetness.

I am enjoying a jalapeno ranch dressing right now upon my crisp salad.
Blue cheese is for hot wings. Ranch is for hot box food which I am not above.
Im usually a vinagrette guy. Pour some olive oil and vinegar, squeeze on half a lemon, then salt and a shit ton of black pepper and I'm happy. A sesame vinaigrette always hits the spot, or my favorite which is a tomato basil that a local place serves and I haven't quite figured out how to replicate at home.
