Gotta be the old loose cannon! If you have ever watched Master and Commander can you imagine the havok that would be caused if one of those cannons broke it's mooring lines and started slamming about on the gun deck? Massive death and carnage. Awesome.

In fairness @GrundleStiltzkin , keel haul should have made the cut and is a glaring omission. I was sexting with @swaye about nautical talk and did this on the fly.
 
I like to call a Propeller a Screw; it's what I like to do.

There's so many though. Just the letter "S" has sideboy, spreader, snotter, seacock, spanker, sextant, and dozens more you salty dogs probably can't fathom.

...I may need to get laid.
