While I generally agree with the tone of the article the issue is that it focuses on traditional kinetic warfare, which rightly, no nation on Earth can challenge the US.
Our enemies given that situation, have focused on non-traditional warfare. Creating internal strife, subverting our institutions, and corrupting our elites & leadership. They've succeeded to a magnitude that really could topple the world order. Look no further than the current debacle in Afghanistan.
The US needs to start fighting another cold war and focus on cleaning house at home. BOTH parties have sell outs. It's a good time to focus on retaking our own republic before worrying about kinetic warfare.

I wouldn't call Korea a loss. Given Truman's inability to impress the chicoms, Ike did and got the draw. If I were Taiwan, I'd be building nukes like crazy. The US is done as a functioning military power. The top leadership is woke as are the US intelligence agencies and civilian military oversight. The fact that a dementia patient that is bought and paid for by the chicoms is the US president and fully supported by the dem party and the MSM and the Pump's leftards and NeverTrumpers says how bankrupt a large percentage of the US citizenry is.
