Executive Order for NCAA NIL and Portal Limits

Yeah not having a CBA is problem 1 and out of control portal is problem 2 and a CBA would help with the portal. There also needs to be serious regulation against tampering.
Having an agent registry might help on the tampering front. Having a bunch of unvetted yahoos making deals on behalf of idiot kids has been the rousing success you’d imagine it would be. NCAA ahead of the curve as always.

NCAA could have solved this fucking problem with standardized contracts for all athletes and institutions who want to compete under the NCAA umbrella.

You want to play at an NCAA university, fine. Here's the terms of the agreement. Don't want to sign the agreement? Fine. Fuck off . Go to the GLeague or minors. Have fun on the bus for Short A ball riding to Salem-Kaiser.

Lots of things they could have mandated in a pay for play scenario.

It's so crazy I forget but the whole no licensing required for agents might be the craziest part of the whole thing. Even outside of sports and entertainment how many industries, especially ones where big money is changing hands, have zero licensing?

The NCAA oddly never seemed to defend itself with the age limit rules stuff being an NFL rule. Is there anything stopping a player from playing in Canada or the XFL or Arena League for three years or just training until they are eligible. We're already at the point where guys with inflated TBS ratings don't have to prove much in college if the PR is good enough around them.

The minor leagues are also not nearly as rosy compared to the traditional NCAA system.

He should send them a TruthSocial post where he's formally announcing that he's cutting their federal funding effective immediately and that he just launched a nuclear missile at their campus.
Joe Rogan should start acting completely flabbergasted by his behavior.
