Not one to preach teatotaling, I definitely think the Bible is clear that alcohol is permissible (though drunkenness is not).
Grew up in a family of alchy's though, Pops was an alcoholic for years, both brothers are alcoholics (one of them pretty toxic), just decided early on alcohol's something I'd better not mess with.
Self control isn't my greatest strength by any means. I have no doubts where I'd end up if I played around with alcohol.
Just not worth it for me.

I’ve been told West Virginia is lightly colored on this map because they don’t consider what they do to be excessive.
ATBS, it’s a really interesting map, although entirely predictable. Bible Belt dry counties in the south + Mormons equal white. Dark Blue = Mein Krauts.

you can get drunk in utah, never had a problem, just have to be strategic (i.e. tough to get liquor on sundays).
