They’re also a fun and likable team to watch. Booker is cold and the Chris Paul storyline is fun. I think most people like both of those guys.

The NBA is still off schedule as well. The Finals should end with the US Open around my birthday in June. They shouldn't be going up against the All Star Game of the Open Championship. Legit surprised ratings are as high as they are.

They didn’t go up against even the Home Run derby.
The 3rd round of the Open was over hours before the pre game of the Finals.
A Deer vs Valley was certainly the worst case scenario for Finals ratings. But the NBA has no exterior factor to lean on. Other than those that they’ve added and embraced themselves.
